Meet Kris and Adrienne the husband-and-wife that make up Marigold Catering Co.

From humble beginnings, we’re a tremendous team. Together we’re raising a blended family, created success, and built a company with the intent of bringing elegance and sophistication to your table. Two entrepreneurs with giant imaginations and even bigger dreams! We are proud to serve our community as a Family Owned, Female Owned and a Black Owned business. Kris and Adrienne combined have more than three decades in the hospitality industry, spending their days at some of the finest dining establishments across the country, including Louisville’s own historic Jack Fry’s and Lily’s Bistro. Working with some of the city’s most prestigious talent gave them the inspiration to make a go at it themselves!

Establishing Marigold Catering Co. in 2019 to give both Kris and Adrienne the opportunity to share their love for service and culinary talents with the community. At Marigold Catering, we can provide anything from family-style buffet catering to a beautifully wine paired multi-course plated dinner. MARIGOLD EXECUTIVE CHEF KRIS COLE

Kris is a classically trained chef who has worked in some of the most prestigious restaurants in Louisville, including Jack Fry’s and Lilly’s Bistro. Growing up near Seymour, Indiana, he began working in the industry as a teen before attending culinary school at Sullivan University. There he honed his skills and set his sites on running his own kitchen. His approach to creating an unforgettable menu is to focus on regional and seasonal ingredients that can be found locally, while also expertly incorporating clients’ preferences and requests.
